Add/Load Pies to ProtoPie Connect

To test prototypes using ProtoPie Connect, add/load pie files onto ProtoPie Connect.

• Add pies to ProtoPie Connect using the + New button.
• You can also replace pies or delete pies.

<aside> 💡 Behind the Scenes: All pies added to ProtoPie Connect will be able to communicate and interact with each other via messages. Adding a new pie will create a new pieId, replacing the pie will use the same pieId it replaces.

Playing Prototypes with ProtoPie Connect

There are several ways to play pies that are added to ProtoPie Connect

• Using ProtoPie Player (iOS/Android)
  • Connected to ProtoPie Connect via USB
  • Connected to ProtoPie Connect via Network/Wifi
    • Scan QR Code: Use the QR code scanner in ProtoPie Player and scan the QR code provided by ProtoPie Connect
    • Type IP Address: Type in ProtoPie Connect’s IP address in ProtoPie Player.
• Using Web Player (Web Browser)
  • Web browser on local machine (same machine as ProtoPie Connect)
  • Web browser or WebView from remote machine

View All

• View All feature allows you to see all your prototypes on ProtoPie Connect in a single web browser window.
• You can also customize the background color as well as rearrange the position and size of prototypes.
